Rachel Reynolds Appointed to TIPS Membership Standing Committee
Seattle partner Rachel Reynolds has been appointed to the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s (TIPS) Membership Standing Committee for the 2017–18 fiscal year. This leadership appointment is in recognition of Reynold’s commitment to TIPS and her reputation among its 20,000 members. Reynolds’ appointment begins on August 15, 2017.
In her new role, Reynolds will be working to bring about TIPS goals in serving its members, the profession and the public. TIPS is the source of knowledge and leadership on trial practice and critical issues of justice that involve tort and insurance law. It is unique within the ABA and the legal community because of its focus on balance and diversity, bringing together plaintiffs, defense, corporate and in-house counsel to tackle issues confronting the legal profession. TIPS enriches the tort, trial and insurance fields of law through CLE programs, comprehensive periodicals, cutting-edge publications and innovative online resources.
In addition to her work trying complex cases, Reynolds is a member of the Sedgwick Women’s Forum Board, is co-editor of the newsletter Women Connect and serves on Sedgwick’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee.
